Manufacturing/Process Engineer

This full-time position at our Ironwood, MI facility will require the ability to develop and specify manufacturing processes, tooling, work instructions and related documentation. Ongoing evaluation of manufacturing methods and procedures with the ability to seek continuous improvement of manufacturing methods is also a key area of responsibility. Also required is the ability to work with customer design and engineering staff for the development of specialized tooling, production fixtures and programming. The ideal candidate will have electronics manufacturing experience (or other manufacturing experience), highly developed problem solving skills, and excellent communication ability. Supervisory experience is also desired.

The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and at least (2) years of experience in purchasing and/or procurement. The buyer will prepare purchase orders for procurement of material, review inventory, solicit and review vendor quotations, expedite open orders, and maintain and develop strong working relationships with outside suppliers.
