Quality Department RMA Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for the timely handling of all paper work from the time the unit is received until the time it ships to the customer
  • Coordinate with technicians to keep returns moving through the repair cycle, and having them ship on time
  • Work with inventory to get parts as needed for technicians
  • Coordinate with Test and Mechanical departments to schedule work or time in their departments
  • Keep Quality Manager appraised of all unresolved and/or potential problems that would negatively effect on time delivery of RMAs.
  • Provide support to the Quality Manager and work miscellaneous assignments as instructed
  • Identify areas for improving processes, procedures, and documentation
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ensure compliance with policy and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

Electronic Test Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Execute defined Test Procedure for electronic assemblies built by Burton Industries Inc.
  • Troubleshoot test failures to component level.
  • Identify failure trends.
  • Follow Burton Industries procedure for documenting and providing feedback of failure trends.
  • Proficient use of electronic test equipment used for troubleshooting defective assemblies.  This will include Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Signal Function Generators, etc.
  • Use of other specialized test equipment and fixtures with training.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Currently functioning Electronic Technician or Associate’s Degree in Electronics or relevant field at minimum.

Inventory Clerk

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Participates as an integral part of the Inventory Department, including utilizing processes and information to efficiently perform daily job functions, sharing information and ideas during departmental huddles and other company wide communication opportunities.
  • Areas of function include, but are not limited to receiving, kitting, parts requests and other materials handling processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • PC skills to include working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Previous inventory experience a plus

Test Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  •   Follows procedures and uses instruments to test functional performance of systems, sub-assemblies and parts.
  • Records results as necessary and communicates status of work orders.
  • Maintains safety requirements.
  • Electronic test, troubleshooting experience a plus.
  • Strong computer skills for data collection and record keeping.

Machine Operator 2nd shift – Ironwood, MI

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Machine operators are responsible for operating and cleaning the machines, minor maintenance, as well as committing to our quality standards to insure are customers get the best products imaginable!

The ideal candidate will have experience working on a manufacturing line, and some education in manufacturing.

Hours are 2:00pm-12:30am Monday-Thursday.

Quality Inspector: Ironwood, Michigan

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Quality Inspector performs the automated inspection responsibilities and will add other inspection tasks of assemblies per industry standards as work load requires. Will perform process and set-up verifications, and records results as required by the quality management system (QMS).  This position will also assist the organization in problem solving associated with non-conformities as well as other duties as assigned by the Work Cell Lead.

Position Title: Manufacturing Associates

Part-time or full-time, flexible work schedule, mechanical assembly of parts for printed circuit boards, inventory handling, shipping and packaging and other duties as needed. Clean, comfortable work environment in a positive, growing company in Ironwood Michigan.
